Strict standards & unexpected output warning

    I’m getting an internal warning upon activation of the plugin. Formal warning is:

    The plugin generated 275 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

    The top of my page has the following echoed warnings:

    Strict Standards: Non-static method SendPress_Signup_Shortcode::init() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/sendpress/sendpress.php on line 193

    Strict Standards: Non-static method SendPress_Notifications_Manager::init() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/sendpress/sendpress.php on line 197

    Plugin looks like it could be great otherwise!

    Maybe Josh has an idea about this. It could be your MAMP setup but I’m not sure. I’ll mention it to him and see if he has any ideas.

    You’re right. I just tested it on my live server and am not getting the warning.

    I looked into the MAMP settings and seems like there are a lot of people trying suppress ‘strict standards’ warnings in PHP 5.4. Will keep digging for the actual problem, though!

    Just upgraded to 0.9.4.5 and the ‘echoed’ warnings are no longer showing up but the ‘generated extra characters’ warning is still showing. Doesn’t really affect anything, but thought I would share that. Thanks for the update!
