I need a bit of strategic advice. I am building my own portfolio through wordpress, but I am quite new to it still. The problem I'm having is how to make a portfolio which i can easily update. Right now I have to make a seperate php for each individual work. Adding a project to a general 'project menu' isn't hard, but each individual project takes much more time and is complicated. I am thinking about future clients who want to do similar stuff with their website, making new content should be easy. And I believe it can be, but I don't know how.
On the individual project pages there is two things, text and image. The text and image are in their own divs. Right know it's two seperate posts in seperate catagories, catagories that are activated by a php tag in a self made template. Making the page template, writing two different posts with catagory names that match the php tag in the template and linking from the project menu to the right individual project page (i'm using the page ID) is already a pain in the *ss for myself, so I cannot expect customers to go trough the same trouble. I want a way to make the production of an individual project page (using the current layout) very easy .
people have done this before, so there must be a mastermind solution out there. I hope there is someone who would like to take up a challenge and that I explained myself well. for viewing the site use
