All
I recently upgraded to 3.1.4. Now every time I post, it gets duplicated for no reason. I tried deactivating all the plugins and still it duplicates. This causes Google to penalize my site.
Eg:

http://topforeignstocks.com/2011/07/01/final-third-test-for-wordpress-dup-issue-all-plugins-deactivated/
Here first has "wp" folder in the path and the second one doesn't. The correct one is the first one. But the problem is both the formats work in Google and I am not sure why it happens this way.
Can someone shed light on this strange issue?
Thanks in advance

Yes I installed WP in the WP folder.
I am not sure what you mean by "changed it to 'act' in root?". Can you please explain this to me? I am non-technical person. Thanks.
Do you want WP to live in http://topforeignstocks.com/wp or http://topforeignstocks.com/ ?
Right now, it seems that http://topforeignstocks.com/ is set to up show your site, which is what we call 'acting' like WordPress is actually installed at http://topforeignstocks.com (i.e root).
