For some reason whether I am logged in or not I see a white rectangle and this has been reported by visitors also. Browsers tested are IE,FF,and Chrome.
My site is http://www.ghoststorm.co.uk and its like the white rectangle is due to a plugin but i have disabled and enabled all of them and it still happens. I have even tried different themes.
Where is this? All looks normal to me.

Its usually around the centre of the site and is when someone has uploaded an image. As soon as the "featured image" button is pressed on a post that thing appears.
Nothing obvious when viewing in Firefox 7 or IE9 here either - unless you mean the popup on the site.

It's difficult to troubleshoot anything from a screenshot but that does look like something is try (and failing) to launch a popup box to me. Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on to see if you can gain any clues as to where it's coming from.

I get a white rectangle that is shaped a lot like a search box in size and shape, and it basically lays over top the screen in a fixed position while I can scroll everything below it and the white rectangle blocks the content it is in front of...
