[resolved] Strange Re-Routing in the Admin Panel (4 posts)

I just tried to upload some images to one of my galleries, and unfortunately this appears to have broken the plugin.

After upload, I got an error message and ever since, once I try to access the Nextgen Admin-Panel, I got reroutet to a path like that:

    http://www.example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=nggallery-manage-gallery&skipjs0=chrome://iskydeluxe/content/iskydeluxeCore.js

    and a blank screen shows.

I tried to delete the whole plugin an reinstall, however, the error still occurs, only there's no existing gallery anymore and I can't create a new one.

I was wondering why I am using Version 2.0.33 with no update available while the dropdown for versions in this field starts with Version 2.9 - What am I missing.

    Appreciate your quick support.

    Regards
    Michaela

@buerosmart - The current version of NextGEN Gallery is 2.0.33 ... the issue you are describing appears to be one that we have seen before and is usually related to a plugin or theme conflict.

Have you checked for plugin conflicts or looked if this happens when you use a default WordPress Twenty series theme?

    - Cais.

    Dear Cais,

it was indeed an issue with another Plugin. "Block Bad Queries" was the one that created the issue.

@buerosmart - I believe we have one other report of that plugin causing a conflict ... perhaps you would like to submit a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ ... please reference this topic) so we can try to help you get this sorted out?

Our developers may need a set of log in credentials for your WordPress installation as well, please include those with the Bug Report, too.

Have you let the BBQ author know about this issue?

    Thanks!

    - Cais.
