• Hi all,

I’ve got a strange problem at my permalinks settings. I’ve set the Custom Structure to “/%category%/%postname%/”.

Now everything goes well but when I check 24 hours later, the permalink was changed automatic back to the standard post-id structure.

I also use the decategorizer and Redirection plugin. Could somebody please tell me what could be wrong? I also set a htaccess file like I always do.

    Please anyone?

    Thanks
    Mark

    anybody???

well, i can guarantee you that decategorizer or redirection aren’t the culprits, neither of them touches the permalink structure.

what other plugins do you have installed?

Update failed a couple of times and now nothing works at all. F#ck!

you should go and create a new thread.

However, do you have back up of your database? If yes, then restore the same.

I’ve experienced the same issue as wasmachinekeuze, did you ever find the culprit?

    my structure is
    domain.com/blog/category/postname/ (standard)
    with decategorizer its:
    domain.com/blog/postname/ (nice and clean)

so every 24hrs it goes back to standard, the temporary remedy fix is to de-activate decategorizer and re-activate it, this seems to reset somthing and makes it work again.

When it resets back to standard all the links still point to domain.com/blog/postname/ but the path just doesn’t resolve.

these are the plugins i have:

    Add to Any
    Akismet 2.2.4
All in One SEO Pack 1.5.4
    Chap Secure Login 1.5.1
    Configurable Tag Cloud 4.5
    Decategorizer 0.7.1.1
    Fast Tube 2.3
    Google Analyticator 4.1.1
    Google XML Sitemaps 3.1.3
    Live Blogging 1.1
    Redirection 2.1.14
    Stealth Login 1.3
    Twitter Tools 1.6
    Twitter updater w/ TinyURL 2.0
    WP Security Scan
