    Hello and thank you,
    Your plugin looks great and wanted to test it
    The structure of the domain is:
    example.com (a multisite)
    example.com/subsite (another multisite but NOT a subdomain. wysija is installed)
    example.com/subsite/site01 (wysija is activated)
    We try out the plugin for a day or two and seems to work fine... :)

    Today we created a new subdomain at the main domain
    play.example.com (NO wordpress, NO multisite)
    Created some html files with scripts we want to test, and ..... only half an hour later we by chance found in the (subdomain) directory the file
    ".wysiwygPro_preview_5b33ab468b8382dac7a56bc60f2b4498.php" with:

    <?php
    if ($_GET['randomId'] != "RRomp8G7QkkMNXas6hdCEZ4uR4BYi947oWp38VXnBHQ_oqVQo8XsdOMyfNZYZ2PJ") {
        echo "Access Denied";
        exit();
    }

    // display the HTML code:
    echo stripslashes($_POST['wproPreviewHTML']);

    ?>

    Out of nowhere... :(
    We didn't even send any mail from the activated plugin which is in a totally different domain.

    Once more. This file came out of nowhere in a freshly new created subdomain that has not even wordpress installed. :-o
    Any ideas?

    We deactivated WYSIJA for the time being :(

    Oh noooooo.
    Sorry you guys. My eyes betrayed me. (I have to do something with my sleep deprivation)

    I most definitely mark this topic as resolved.

    On a different subject though. The cron does not work and we are told to setup this cron job on our servers:

    .../wp-cron.php?bd44a204726d5b796b83b6d2ee634692&action=wysija_cron&process=all

    Does that "imply": "Create the file named ... and place it in your server"?

    Thank you and sorry once again for the false alert

    No worries.

    Regarding the Cron job this means you need to create an automatic periodical request to that url :

    .../wp-cron.php?bd44a204726d5b796b83b6d2ee634692&action=wysija_cron&process=all

    This is quite a technical stuff, for which you will need google or even an IT guy.
    This said usually there is a cron job option available in most of the host cpanels.

    Hope this helps,
    Ben

    ...you will need google or even an IT guy.

    You have invested hours upon hours on providing a free plugin. I cannot believe one would have to employ an IT guy to set it up. :(

    This said usually there is a cron job option available in most of the host cpanels.

    I have access to my control panel and am allowed to set up cron jobs (have done it again and again),
    Could you please tell me how to set up this one?
    Even better could you please write a guide/example on how to do it, on your site or the FAQ on wordpress?
    That would be so great. :)
