Strange css MU (12 posts)

So I took the plunge into WP...
I had a bunch of heavily modified blogger blogs and weeded them out.
I decided to keep one on a root domain and make it a multisite. I then made 2 other sub directories for 2 subdomain blogs and imprted all 3 right after each other.
Then I installed a theme (same one) on all blogs.
Now when I change my header css in editor, the main site and one of the sub sites change but the other sub site (upon chrome inspect element) has its own css folder.
I am unalbe to find t or understand how this happened since I set them all up at the same time with the same settings.
The plug ins are network wide but the css isn't.
Is this a frequent bug and can anyone tell me how I can set up the one sub site that defaults to the main site css from doing that? I want different header images on each blog.

I also want the ability to add other blogs with the same header (network wide sweeping change when editing the css in the main site (when I add other blogs to the list).
Is this random, common and easy to change? Is it just adding another css file into a folder that I cannot find?

THe theme folders are *shared*. When you change the theme files then every site using that theme will see those changes.

Use a theme where you can change things from the admin area, like with the custom header option. that way the change is on a per site basis.

What THEMES are each site set to use?

If they use the same theme, then the theme editor will change for everyone. If they don't, then they don't.

That is the bizarre thing- All 3 sites use the same theme- the 2 sub domains had the theme enabled exactly the same way.
Somehow one has it's own css and the other doesn't.
WHen I make changes to the main blog, it only changes one of the sub blogs.
I installed Linkwithin last night and altered the css to make it look better and it only changed the same one that the header updated on- the other one has a mind of its own so to speak.
I can see the header css did not update on the one sub domain but has on the other, hence updated header on one (that matches the main site and the original unchanged header and linkwithin on the other).
    Here are the urls:
    forhuntersbyhunters.com (main)
foranglersbyanglers.forhuntersbyhunters.com (sub that shares changes with the main)
704outdoors.forhuntersbyhunters.com (it has it's own css somehow)
How can this be and where the heck is the folder?
I embedded both sub sites into another doplhin community - and I don't want a hunting header on a fishing site- and the one with the mind of its own is really a more "mature" content that I dont' wnat my brand logo on.
Today I will be installing a phpbb3 forum (and bridging it as well as the main site) and ant to make the blogs look different only in the header- notheing else.
It must be something simple that I just can't see.
I am not really good with "inspect element" with chrome but I can see the code doesn't change when I change it on the main site in regard to the one with its own css.

Are you using any CSS plugins like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/safecss/

Also check the THEME options to see if they have header options.

No CSS plugins. I have stayed away from them because I thought they might cause problems with MU.
Theme option does have header options:Place an ad, add a logo. That's it.
Those are the only independent options with WPNEWS theme I am using and Menu limitations)

Well. That's why you have a different header, you get, right?

No the header background image- I put one into the css and it changed the background- not an advertisement or a log.
Now one site has white background (and if I inspect element I can see no code in css for background in the element.
The main site and other subdomain now have a background image.

No the header background image I added to the Editor- a background line of code.- I put it into the css and it changed the background- not an advertisement or a logo.
Now one site has white background (and if I inspect element) I can see no code in css for background in the element. Hence like I have been saying, it doesn't follow suit with the main site like the other duplicate subdomain.
The main site and other subdomain now have a background image. The one on its own (duplicate of the other subdomain) header background did not change nor was the code in the css- wheverver it is.
I must not be articulating the issue clearly.

I don't see a different header background when I look at your sites, though they are hella slow.

Strange it took hours (I cleared all cache and browser cache- but now it shows up on all sites- I disabled many plugins- the site was really slow- now it is flying and all 3 have banners...

Your sites are still so slow for me, they time out. I would say it's server caching, personally.
