   I get a  and ’ in my past post, does anyone know what' going on?
   I searched the forims and found http://wordpress.org/support/topic/101135?replies=12#post-583598.
   However, that is from a year to 11 months ago and version 2.2.

   My this blog is 2.6.1 and it has always been a 2.6 type blog, I did upgraded it with no problem to 2.6.1 when it came out. The odd charters have just started showing up in the past week or two.

   I had the same problem when I upgraded to 2.6.1, not with every post though. I think it has something to do with the way WP interprets the various 'flavours' of printer's quotes, em/en spaces etc that end up embedded in the texts.

   The only way to correct it is to edit every instance.

   I did edit them out, if they aren't back in a week or so I'll come back and mark this post as resolved.

   Hello,

   Take a look at what I wrote about this problem recently. It might resolve your issue with the unicode Â's showing up in your blog posts.
