Strange Calendar

    I was working on a website for a client when he pointed out something that he thought was strange, too, about the Calendar widget on WordPress.

    Most calendars (at least in the US) are set:
    S M T W T F S

    But The WP calendar is setup:
    M T W T F S S

    Any idea why or how to change it?
