    Check out my site: http://beachief.com/. You'll notice that there are 4 strangely placed bullet points at the top of the header. I have absolutely no idea how they got there, but I know it is somehow caused by my menu bar. Each menu item is created with this code:

    <ul class="link-item-menu">
    <?php $feature_post = get_posts( 'category=4&numberposts=1' ); ?>
    <?php foreach( $feature_post as $post ) : setup_postdata( $post ); ?>
    <li><h2 class="link-item-menu-black"><?php the_category(' '); ?></h2></li>
    <?php endforeach; ?>
    </ul>

    Here's the CSS:

    Why are there bullet points, and how do I get rid of them?

    I'm not sure that this solves your problem, but try adding this under the header section in your themes style sheet and see if it makes any difference:

    #header ul, li {list-style-type:none;}
