That is odd. If you had disabled those plugins somewhere using plugin organizer and then they got disabled I would understand what the problem is. But if you haven’t disabled them then I don’t know why plugin organizer would be disabling them randomly.
I have NOT enabled/disabled anything in PO/Global Settings.
I’m enabling per page/post enabling/disabling of plug-ins.
But I still have this problem.
Don’t know what is the exact reason.
Do you have selective plugin loading for the admin enabled? If so disable that and try it again.
The info for ADMIN AREAS, is slightly confusing :
“
Admin Areas:
* Enable
* Disable
NOTE: When this option is enabled plugins will be disabled on the admin pages. The first option must be enabled before this one will take affect.
“
i.e,
1) By selecting ‘ENABLE’ option, it DISABLES plug-ins on ADMIN pages
2) By selecting ‘DISABLE’ option, it ENABLES plug-ins on ADMIN pages.
Is it possible, to have :
a) ‘ENABLE’ means ‘ENABLING’ plug-ins on ADMIN pages
b) ‘DISABLE’ means ‘DISABLING’ plug-ins on ADMIN pages.
I will re-try as you said and report back.
What happens, if you SELECT, all options on CUSTOM POST TYPE SUPPORT?
What is this and What does it do ?
One more connected question.
By Enabling/Disabling in ADMIN areaa, what does it mean?
a) ‘ENABLE’ ADMIN AREAS – Does it mean it will disable execution of plug-ins in ADMIN areas/pages – both FRONT-END and BACK-END?
b) Or is it ONLY on BACK-END?
Results are NOT consistent when enabling/disabling settings through settings/plugin organizer page.
Also using GLOABL PLUGINS Enable/Disable or per page/post enable/disable or defining through PLUG-IN filters results are NOT consistent.
Other plug-ins are still getting disabled automatically.
Don’t know the exact reason.
I want to follow a clean method, pl let me know whether it will work or not.
1) Enable ALL PLUG-INS in GLOBAL PLUG-INS settings
2) Enable ALL PLUG-INS in all the posts/pages
3) Create filter for each page/post based on PERMALINK & NAME and select the plug-ins to either enable or disable.
Will the above method works?
If PO is used along with MINIFY tools, will it conflict?
I did see some conflict.
Disabling MINIFY tools give the actual page rendering results.
Otherwise, I see, some rendering issues.
When you enable selective plugin loading on the admin area you can use plugin organizer to disable a plugin for the admin area.
Custom post type support allows you to disable plugins for a custom post type. A post and a page are 2 default post types. Plugins and themes create custom post types that can be displayed like a page or post. With this you can disable plugins when they are displayed.
When you enable plugin organizer for the admin areas it lets you disable plugins when you are viewing the admin.
You don’t need to enable plugins on the admin global plugins page. By default they are all enabled. You also don’t need to enable anything on the pages or post as everything is enabled by default. You don’t need filters for pages or posts since they both have an interface on their edit screens. The same goes for custom post types.
Plugin filters have the lowest priority so if you create a filter it can be overridden by what you set on a page that has a matching permalink.
Thanks for the reply.
Thanks for GREAT PLUGIN.
I was able to improve page load speed by 3x.
I also made it work with MINIFY tools along with PO.
Now my page load speed is 4x compared to earlier.
It took some time and experiments, to understand various options and how they work in different situations.
But the end result is fantastic and it reflects in my page load speed.
Keep-it up.
