[resolved] Strange behavior when hovering over ratings balloon from a widget. (10 posts)

    Using: WP 3.5.2, BP 1.7.2, Ratings 1.8.2

Is this normal behavior (image) when you hover you mouse over the ratings balloon to see the stats from a sidebar widget? Why does is show random pages and things with odd images that have nothing to do with my site? Is there a setting?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

OK, so I refreshed the page and tried again and now see how it should look.

The problem I have with this is that since I'm hovering over the ratings total for Posts, why is it showing me Pages even though the heading says "TOP RATED POSTS"?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Thanks for the heads up. You won't see pages anymore.

    Vova,

Thanks for looking into the pages issue with this feature!

I've been playing around with the advanced settings like options.showTooltip and options.showInfo. I think it would be cool to have another setting to disable the "TOP RATED POSTS". Perhaps something like

    options.showTopRated=false;

    Do you take enhancement requests?

It's already part of the TODOs :)

    Cool thanks.

One new issue I see is that Draft postings are showing up in the "TOP RATE POSTS" area of the popup.

    1. Image showing the post in the popup.
    2. Image showing the post is in draft.

    Thoughts?

Try now, I've added a requirement that the post must have at lease one vote to be shown.

    Confirmed! Thanks.

Question: Will your "one vote" solution be valid in this use case:

    1. New post is published.
    2. Users vote on it.
    3. Post is returned to draft.

Not a likely scenario (for me personally), but it can happen right? Just something to consider.

It won't be valid, we'll have to think about better solution. Currently we have some architectural constraints but it should be resolved soon.
