I am very happy about this new site. The StoryCorps homepage pulls the latest post from the blog, and the blog itself is an archive of StoryCorps' audio clips from the last two years. The transcripts of the interviews are included as meta information in the posts and as such, they are completely searchable.
It's a very stripped down template meant to blend into the rest of the site.
The organization itself is an oral history project meant to archive the stories of America. Our goal is 250,000 stories in a database at the library of Congress. So far we're up to 7,000, but only the ones that are broadcast on NPR (150 or so) actually show up on the blog.
Any feedback is welcome.
