Storing posts in the DB (3 posts)

    Hi,
Most of providers (well, many) have quite strict limitations on size of MySQL database. Bluehost, for example, (listed first in the list of recommended providers, btw) limits it to 50 MB whereas total storage capacity is 10 GB.
Since all posts/comment content is stored in the database - 50 MB are going to be filled up pretty soon. Any possiblity to store post/comment content in flat files?
    Thanks,
    Alex

Hm... I think I was actually talking bollocks. :) BlueHost has limit of 50 databases not size of database to 50 MB.

2MB is roughly the size of a novel. You gonna loose a troop of monkeys on your keyboard?
