Store with Membership-level discounts

    Hi there,

    I’m desperately searching for a plugin or compatible plugins which would allow me to have a store on a clients wordpress site with paid membership levels. The main feature I NEED is store wide membership-level discounts. Plugins which would also allow me to implement an affiliate program for referring memberships would be great.

    I’m having a terrible time finding this. Many wordpress carts offer membership features, and there are tons of great membership plugins and stores separately, but none offer membership-level discounts (which seems crazy to me, because this is a popular feature). The only possible solution I’ve found is entering duplicates of all products for EACH membership-level and restricting access to each product and link based on membership. That’s an insane amount of product management and administration for a feature that you would think should come standard in a shop/membership plugin.

    I’d be interested in trying to help you get this working with Paid Memberships Pro and Jigoshop. I am the developer behind PMPro and lately choose Jigoshop for my shopping cart use. Their open source model makes it easy to get needed updates into their product as well.

    Are you looking to do a flat 10% discount or something like that? Or would the discount need to be product specific.

    If it was a flat discount, there should be some way to hook into the Jigoshop price (if not, probably easy enough to have them add the functionality) … or you could probably have it add one discount at the time of checkout that covers all products (a product with a negative price?).

    Something like that might not be available now, but wouldn’t take too much effort I think to allow it… but would take some effort on your end to manage the connection (if that makes sense).
