Store pages don't recognise new site url (4 posts)

    Hello,
I've just renamed my site. I know, not a very wise thing to do but it really needed doing... Now everything seems to work but when I click on a destination icon link that used to take me to a store page for, it takes to my previous url link.
The only way around it that I managed to find is to recreate store pages for each listing. I have a lot of extra info on each page though and it would involve a lot of copying and pasting...
If you know of a less time consuming way I would really appreciate it.
Also, the permalinks on each store page are ok (have the new url), so I'm really confused...
    my site url: http://noi-intolleranti.com/
    Many thanks, Sonia

    I said:

    I'll explain better.....
I meant to say that when, on the map results list, I click on the link to the store pages local URL the link still points to the old url, so the page can't be found.

Hope it's clearer. Sorry, it's been a long day..

I never really considered that possibility. The only "quick" way would be to use something like phpMyAdmin and update the store pages URL field by doing a global replace of the base URL. It is fairly technical to do this correctly.

Re-creating the pages will set them back to the "blank slate" simple template that was created originally. Probably not what you wanted.

Guess I need to put this on the list of features for the new "Enhanced Bulk Manager" plugin I'm considering. Unfortunately several other paid customer projects are putting my "wish list" features further away every day.

    Thanks for your reply,

thought maybe others may find it useful: The only way to get around the problem I managed to find was in fact to recreate every store page and, with a lot patience, copying and pasting the content...

    Any news on tagalong?
    Sonia
