I have purchased the Store Pages upgrade for Store Locator Plus. I have associated locations in "manage locations" with store pages with the store locator plugin (icon is present). I am using responsive wordpress theme. Is there something I am missing, the "store pages" plugin in should not be giving me this error massage when I attempt to visit the page.
thanks!

Your theme is likely breaking standard permalink functionality. That happens with many responsive themes. It shouldn't, no real reason to stop proper permalinks for custom page types but I've seen it more & more.
Share your theme info so it can be investigate, but I'm betting the theme or a plugin is breaking proper permalink processing in WordPress.
