Stopping a category from showing up on blog

    I want to know if there’s a way to keep one category from showing up on a blog page? I have a site I’ve created for a client and they want to do a series of articles and have them show up on a page. I’ve set the category up as a ‘page’ so that anything published under that category shows up on that page. But they also show up on the blog and we don’t want that to happen.

    How can I avoid this please?

    Hi,
    Yes this is possible but needs some editing for that please read the codex page
    you will have to alter the query of the posts and add
    query_posts( 'cat=-3' );
    -Make sure you read that codex page as it offers you info about more options and ways to accomplish this.
