• Why anyone would want to hack into my family blog website I don’t know, but one day I suddenly got an automated email through the BPS plugin that an administrator account had been locked for 30 minutes as an incorrect password had been entered 5 times in a row! It showed the IP address as somewhere in Russia. I do not live in Russia.

Thereafter every 30 minutes the hacker (or bot) tried to hack in with the 5 guesses it got before it was locked for another 30 minutes. Fortunately I had set up a complex 20 character password so I wasn’t concerned that the hacker (or bot) could crack it.

I had such a great feeling not only knowing that someone was trying to hack in, but actually seeing the notifications coming in, in real time. Thanks BPS!
