I actually want to stop the scroll of my sidebar on right side when it reaches to the last widget, but the content on the left side (i.e. the latest posts) should scroll. More Specifically, I want to implement the sidebar scroll functionality just like http://boingboing.net/
Scroll down in boing boing and you'll see what I want.
I have been through web, and people suggest using the method given here :-

but am bit of a newbie, and dont know that how to implement it, to suite my needs.

You're welcome to use our code at Boing Boing. Check out the linked javascript and css files from the homepage -- they expect certain DIVs with certain names in the document. Also required is the jQuery library.
@Beschizza, am a noob in all this. Can you shed some more light on how can I achieve the same ! I appreciate your help.

I need exactly the same facility. I'm amazed no-one has developed a plug-in for this. So many sites have long content pages and of course the sidebars are wasted.
Beschizza, would you be willing to help or put me in touch with the developer so I can pay for a solution.
