   How do I stop comments being made about comments? I knwo there is a tick box that when making the post, but is there a global setting. I dont want pingback comments at all.

   Yeah, I too would like this option. I hate pings, they are worse than spam comments. Just having an option to have ping=off by default so I don't have to remember to clear the checkbox each time would be nice.

   Have you bothered to look into Settings on your dashboard? It's there...

   On the Dashboard there is not a Settings tab. I've looked through all of the other options available and I don't find a universal way of turning the pingbacks off.

   Mojorob, why don't you just tell us where it is?

   Hi there, try settings, discussion, and uncheck pingbacks and trackbacks, hope it works.
