Is this some unqusual request or what?

What authentication are you referring to?

I didn’t know there’s many places in a single wordpress installation, where users could authenticate themselves.
I’m speaking specifically about wp-login.php returning “HTTP 200 Ok” to any request, regardless of the results.
It’s making it rather hard to track attempts to brute force admin password.

Deactivate all plugins and see if you still get the same result.

    No authentication plugins are active.
Actually, the only plugin installed is the Google Adsense one.
Do you think it may affect the login form?
