   Hello everyone,
   I'm trying to put a front page on a new website under development, but as you can guess I am experiencing a problem, and the problem is the home page is still showing up on the posts page I defined in the admin section.

   Here's what I've done to make my front static page :
   1. Duplicate my index.php template page to home.php, and added the "template name: Home" tag at the top.
   2. Created 2 empty pages named Home ("Home" template) and News 'Default template).
   3. Whent to Settings > Reading and choose static pages :
   - FRONT PAGE : Home
   - POSTS PAGE : News

   So I thought I did everything as I was supposed to ... but I doesn't work. The posts page and the front page shows the same page : the home one.

   Did you edit your Home template? If not, it is going to show the same thing as the original index.php.
