I am trying to remove the "uncategorised" from my posts, but after installing this (and other) plugins still haven't been able to.
I am using WP 3.2.1 and WP twenty-eleven theme version 1.2.
Please assist!

Edit each post, untick "Uncategorized" on the category list then update the post.
Thanks esmi! Problem is when I untick Uncategorized and save, it goes right back to ticked when I reopen...
You have to file each post under at least 1 category. Do you have any other categories?
Nope - no other categories. I don't mind it being categorised, I just don't want the category to show up when a visitor views the post. Does that make sense?
In that case, all of your posts will have to be filed under the Uncategorized category and you will have to edit your theme's template files to remove the category links/info from your displayed pages.
Thanks... but how do I do that?
By editing the relevant template files in your theme.
Thanks Esmi. I don't know which files are the relevant ones and I don't know how to edit them. Can you point me to someplace where I can get more information on how to do this? Thanks!

Right now, neither do we. We've not even seen your site - yet alone which page you're referring to. We can be good but not we're psychic. :-)
Jaja... Do you think there's a plugin to be psychic? :-)
OK... Here's the site: http://www.saautoglass.com. On the home page, I want to make the "Posted On" and "Posted In" at the top and bottom respectively disappear.
Let me know if you can help.
Thanks!
Francois

If there was, I'd install in a heartbeat. It would save me a lot of time ;-)
Right - you're currently using the dark skin on the Twenty Eleven theme. That's the WordPress default theme and, consequently, a special case. You should not edit thisn theme. Having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.
Create a child theme for your customisations. If creating the basic child them is a little much for you, you can find a bare bones child theme for Twenty Eleven on quirm.net. The only thing you will have to do is reset the new child theme to use the dark skin again once the child theme is active. From that point onwards, we should be able to help with the customisation.
