What exactly did you do? I’m assuming you are talking about the “Enabling Referrers” page on Codex? Did you try everything there? Are you getting any specific errors or simply the “enable referrers” message?
Have you cleared your browser cache and tried that as well?
I tried the explorers and the norton 2004 but that is all and i dont have that link anymore too so I can find the other options

In InternetExplorer, go to Tools/Internet Options and hit “Delete [Temporary] Files”. I’m a Mac user, so I’m not entirely sure what that button actually says, but look for a button like that.
Tools/Internet Options…/General tab, Temporary Internet files section (in middle). Hit Delete Files… button.
Get some sleep… things work better when you have your wits about you.
