I’ve changed all my image links to make them come up secure but I still have 3 files showing up in Chrome as insecure.

    They are:
    wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme/css/Default.css?ver=3.8.1′
    wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme/style.css’
    wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme/js/jquery.flexslider-min.js?ver=3.8.1′

I’ve tried SSL Insecure Content Fixer and WordPress HTTPS and neither fixed these three links.

I can’t find them coded anywhere on the page template to be able to go in and change the link code. Are there any other ideas to recode these three files so my https pages show secure?

    Please supply a link — I can’t diagnose what I can’t see.

To view the https://saferide4kids.com/checkout/ you’ll have to put something in the cart.

    • wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme/css/Default.css?ver=3.8.1 doesn’t exist, so your 404 page is being returned over HTTP — it’s the insecure content; fix your theme so that it either has Default.css or doesn’t try to load it
    • wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme-child/style.css has a hard-coded reference to http://saferide4kids.com/wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme/style.css — remove the http: bit and leave //
    • wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme/js/jquery.flexslider-min.js?ver=3.8.1 also doesn’t exist, same 404 deal

Incidentally, since you’re running WooCommerce you probably won’t get any benefit from either SSL Insecure Content Fixer or WordPress HTTPS; WooCommerce already fixes many of the things those plugins fix.

Thank you. Yes I could change the link tag, except I can’t find where it’s calling for these three links. I don’t know where to fix the theme so it doesn’t call for the default.css?ver=3.8.1.

It’s possible this got messed up with Woocommerce new update as it used to work just fine.

Well, I’d start with the support forum for the ColorWay theme. That’s a premium theme so you should get your premium support from them, it’s what you’re paying for.

But for a quick fix, you can just create empty files at those paths, that will stop you getting 404 errors and solve those SSL warnings. Then edit that style.css stylesheet in your child theme. Then please log a fault with inkthemes so that they know to fix those problems.

    cheers,
