Hi, guys!
I've been doing a bit of research on Google and WordPress support forums on how to make a post or posts sticky (stay at the top of the page.)
Often, a plugin called adhesive was recommended but every link given to the mythical plugin is dead.
There was also a step by step hack given that had something to do with a loop and altering the database through phpAdmin which might as well have been written in Greek to someone who isn't a coder.
Finally, there was a suite of plugins that included CG-Postorder that put all manner of database errors where my posts used to be.
You would think that merely postdating a post years into the future would leave that post at the top of the page as it does in Blogger and other apps. But no, in WordPress, the post is held until the year 2525 (if WordPress is still alive....)Sorry. Zager and Evans song reference.
So, what gives? Why is a functionality that would seem so obviously needed so difficult to obtain on the otherwise most powerful blogging app around?
Does anyone know how to achieve this without having to take a course in PHP?
