How do you make a welcome post sticky and remain at the top of a blog’s home page? Also is there a way to make subsequent posts private automatically, without having posters check private on the posting radio button?
Can at least answer one of your question–to make a post a sticky, under the Publish module, under Visibility, check the Stick this post to the front page.
