   today i've tried to both remove the old sticky post from the publish side bar at the - visibility - public- sticky... but it doesn't do anything.

   it's the same to when i tried to make the new sticky for the new post there.

   is there any problem about wordpress 2.8.4?

   Switch to the WordPress Default theme to see if the new sticky appears as the first post.
