   I'm trying to get a sticky footer working using the Twenty Eleven theme. I've got it working but when I resize the page, it covers up the text. ">Example here. Does anyone know how to make sure a sticky footer doesn't cover up content, or visa versa?

   Likewise, on pages with shorter content, there is a big gap between the content and the footer.

   Thanks in advance for your help.

   Thanks equalmark, that's what I'm referring to but the page says that code is obsolete and has a big warning not to use it.

   You are right, but it has worked for me on a number of occasions.
