    in the ReAD ME file it says
    Unzip the package in an empty directory.
    ------the folder is now on my desktop
    Open up wp-config-sample.php with a text editor like WordPad or similar and fill in your database connection details.
    ---which is the database? my ftp?

    Save the file as wp-config.php
    --i have opened the file with text edit and i have done it.
    Upload everything.
    ----where? on my site?

    No..no...no.
    Your database you create or is created for you by your host. You would create it from within your site's control panel. When you create it, you will have all of the necessary info for your wp-config.php file.

    why wouldnt you just run the install automatically?
