• When I use the Stealth Profit Machine plug-in I cannot add a link. When I press the add button I get the message, “Error on page”

It does not let me add the link.

I appreciate any help I can get.

  • Jemwrite,
You are not alone , Im having the same problem with SPM and have already entered a support ticket to Chris for the solution. It has caused the same error not only in wordpress, but it has spread to other programs too. Seems like the software is buggy, I didnt have any problems at all up until that part of the set up.Going over to warrior forum to see if anyone else has solved the issue yet. ~Steve

Thanks for your comment. It’s always nice to know I’m not the only one. If you get the fix let me know. If I get it I will let you know.

    jemwrite,
I did do some research on the actual error message and found that the cause was a conflict with the browser internet explorer. So I went in under the browser mozzilla was able to add the links and get it to work….for the most part. Some clickbank links work some dont and some webpage links work,Im still getting error messages, but at least I got it to work. But it is very inconsistant. I also found using google chrome and mozzilla when using this program is just better. Try that and let me know if that works..still not heard back from support on SPM ~Steve

I used the firefox browser to set up my application. A couple things I did that were different from the instructions were:

In the setup – on the Install WordPress Tab – in the bottom section – I used host numbers instead of my site name in the
FTP Host field: ex: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (the x’s represents the numbers of my hosting.) You should be able to get them from your web host.

I used my cpanel user name in the FTP Username field.

I used my cpanel password in the FTP password field.

I left the remote directory blank.

I then set up the Install Plugins and Get Content tabs per the instructions.

I use firefox to run my wp-admin.

I checked my site with both explorer and firefox and it seems to be working properly now.

I hope this helps. Thanks for your help.

I’m going to try the instructions given by jemwrite, but I must say, I’ve had problems installing this program every step of the way. It should never have been this difficult. What 7 clicks?

It took 5 Hostgator techs to help me install the WordPress portion, then I got stuck installing the Stealth plugin, but finally figured it out. Now, the auto blogger won’t install.

Now, if WordPress and the plugins are installed, you would think I have the fields filled in correctly. I even checked, via Filezilla, to see if I had the right information…and I did.

The support is very weak. I think they know this has lots of “bugs.” I fear they launched it prematurely.

I spent most of last week figuring it all out, but now can’t move forward since the auto blogger won’t install.

I will try jemwrite’s method and see what happens.

If anyone else has a clue about my problem, please do let me know.

    Thanks!

Hi, I finally got everything up and running but now the autoblogger won’t load. What is the url for the SPM support page?
    Thanks,

The URL to the support page is:

    Hope this helps.

I followed jemwrite’s instructions, but still can’t get the autoblogger to work.

Lonestar62…I’ve been having that same problem for 4 days. I’ve tried everything, including the lame advice I finally got from their support team. If I don’t get an answer by the end of today, I’m going to return it.

Please let me know if, somehow, the support team gives you sound advice. I will try anything to keep this program, but am not hopeful at this point.

I wonder, does it have to be their autoblogger? There seem to be others out there. What did the support team tell you?

They said to watch a bunch of videos on FTP to make sure my fields were set correctly. I did check, and my settings were fine. I told them this information and asked what to do next, but haven’t heard back. It’s been about 4 days now.

People on the Warrior Forum think this is a Scam. Everyone is struggling. I don’t know of any “regular” (real) people who are using it successfully. Do you?

I don’t think we can use anyone else’s autoblogger with their program. They don’t even have a back-up system, which really alarmed me. I asked why I couldn’t add the wp-db-backup plugin (as I have on all my blogs) and they said they back up the system internally. NOT good!

It’s a very closed system and you can’t even install a stats program.

Click this link to see comments from other frustrated users.

At least you won’t feel alone in your frustration.

One more day, then, that’s it for me.

Please do let me know if you hear from them.

    Debbie

Hey Debbie, Thanks for the feedback. I must be having good Karma today because I’ve got it installed on two blogs and everything works. Not sure what the ultimate issue was with the blogger but it definitely related to that “remote directory” setting. When I put it in from /public… to the domain and subdomain, voila!
I think your directory setup is key to making it work.
    Good luck

I have my SPM installed and working fairly well BUT I am still having problems with some of the clickbank hoplinks not working. Some work and some dont. Its really random.
Has anyone figured this out yet? Also what is autoblogger? Where is this program located and what does it do? I haven’t heard back from Malc yet.

    Thx, ~Steve

Hi there new to this support forum as I am desperate to get the auto blogger application installed with no errors! I subscribed to the Stealth Profit Machine software that everyone seems to be having problems with.
Installed the Stealth Plugin manually as it didn’t work. I have tested my directory setting using a ftp client and it work – so why is it that the autoblogger wont install?

I see the previous two posts are stating got it working – HELP

I am using hostgator with the domain I want to set up in a sub-domain.

Can some more skilled that I please advise.

    Many thanks

    Iain

    Hi, Iain:

I saw you on Malc’s blog and I have the same problem with the autoblogger. I haven’t heard back from the support team for 4 days. Not good! I followed Malc’s instructions about sending them a screen shot (a new thing I had to learn) with my passwords, but still no reply. This is so infuriating. I’m beginning to think this program is very flawed and not at all for non-techies. Also, could be a scam. You should see the trash talk on the Warrior Forum!

I don’t know what to do. I love the concept of it, but I’ve wasted almost 2 weeks on it and I just don’t have that kind of time to waste. I am so frustrated I could scream.

I’ve heard about another program called “Auto Blog Samurai” and it’s supposed to be truly easy, automatic installation, with all sorts of cool features. It costs $77, so am not sure I want to invest more money right now. I’m so burned out. But, I’m willing to wait a few more days for an answer. Did you send the team a screen shot with your passwords?

Good luck to you! Please leave a post here if you solve your problem. I know that I have the right settings because WP installed, as did the theme and the plugins.

    Take care!

    Debbie
