I just installed the newest update this past week – at the same time, I changed servers and got a new domain. So, I’m not really sure what’s at fault for this.

WordPress shows me as logged out pretty much all the time. When I click “login” it takes me directly into my dashboard, so I’m not really logged out. My bf appears logged out but when he clicks “comment” suddenly he is logged in again.

It isn’t the worst problem in the world, it’s just an annoyance but it is one I’d like to resolve if I can.

I have cleaned out my cookies and cleared my cache. It happens with both firefox and IE. So no clues there. I did have to add a line or two of php for my php shoutbox I use on a forum when we changed servers. BF said that he thought there was a problem with the output buffering.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Bumping this up. Maybe now that the holidays are over someone will read it?

Okay, we figured out what’s happening. I usually access my blog without the www – but the admin pages, comment pages, etc are using the www in the url. I’m on the side of those who would get rid of the www whenever possible and I’m curious if anyone has any idea what’s happening.

Out of curiosity, what do you have for the two URI values at Options -> General? www or not www?

Ah ha! I never set those after moving servers and domains. Just changed the db to reflect the change. That would likely be the problem. I hope.

    Silly little thing.

I’ll give that a try and thanks!

    Yes, yes…that was it. LOL

Time to mark this Resolved, then. 🙂
