What's the status on this fix. I updated to the latest Dev version (.6) and the problem still persists.

    Regards,
    Will

Hi Will, is this specific to the types/views plugin or for all CPTs in general?

I haven't tested the types/views plugin however normal CPTs didn't work before and now they do for me.

Hey Marcus...I think that I pinpointed the issue. Didn't have time to confirm 100% yesterday, but now thinking it was related to the w3tc plugin.

I removed it, and cleaned up my options table, installed wp supercache and not was not seeing the issue after this last night.

Will give u a heads up to confirm after I do some testing today.

    Regards,
    Will

It might be a W3TC/Types clash, because I'm pretty sure CPTs with W3TC/EM work fine (we and many others use that plugin for caching)

Hi Marcus...The permalink issues are definitely Types CRED form related. I did remove the w3tc plugin and it's files/options. I installed wp-super cache and it is providing me with a better experience on my nginx/eAccelerator/memcached setup.

I also updated to the new Types 1.2 version that came out today that promises to fix issues between Events plugin and Types.

But I am still having an issue. I tested the Events Front End listing form and everything translates to the back end and to the listing...but the image fields are lacking the upload and delete buttons...so I cannot add a featured image.

Not sure what this is about. U need to be registered and logged in to your personal homepage to access the event listing form. Here's a link but not sure u will be able to pull anything up.

    BTW..I'm running Dev version 5.3.6.6

for images this would probably be permissions related - upload_event_images i.e. the capabilities you see in Settings > General > User Capabilities

Also, if you allow guest submissions, then you need to enable this in the same tab.

Hi Marcus. I found the issue. There is a conflict with

    TechStudio's Pinterest Button For Images.

When disabled, the fields show properly.

    Will

Yes..that was just an FYI if u keep a known conflict list. I deleted it and found a much better product for that purpose. All is good now.

    Regards,
    Wil
