"Status" does nothing but…

    Hello – the order history screen with the status drop down.

    is that persistent i.e. if I am logged in and select “acknowledged” and then if someone else is logged in and refreshes their page will they see the new status? or is the status only saved in my session for me to see only?

    now to hook into that some day for some fun stuff i.e. a bridge to a strobe light in the kitchen every time there is an order 😛

    or would it be even better to get it automatically cooked and delivered (and perhaps eaten too ..:) ?

    you’ll need the “forum delivery extension – fde” for that :p

    on a slightly more serious note though, you could setup a message filter in your email client that plays a particular sound when an order arrives (the strobe option might be a bit more complicated mind you)
