I have domain, say, http://example.com and subdomain, say, http://sub.example.com. Both works on WordPress 2.3 and uses Stats plug-in (API key the same). The problem: Stats shows the same statistics data for domain and subdomain. Is it good? Is there some workaround?

It seems that nobody interested in to use that plug-in with subdomains. Anyway, plug-in is good! Thanks for your work.

Please someone reply, that plugin will work for domain and sub domain, as for now, for both the stat is coming together

I have the same problem with WordPress 2.5
I have a domain http://superlinks.com.mx and a subdomain http://autos.superlinks.com.mx and I am using the "WordPress.com Stats" plugin but the stats of the subdomain are not available... I always see the domain stats.
What can I do ?

I cannot get my subdomain stats to show up on my dashboard at all.
It reads a big fat zero. When setting up the stats program I used mpls.doesbike.com instead of doesbike.com/mpls.
Did I mess it up?

From the troubleshooting i have done, i believe the problem is on the back-end. Meaning, on the server where the stats are being hosted. Meaning, wordpress.com.
I have two domains, otherwonders.com and sneakykitty.com. If i create test blogs on otherwonders.com and on subdomains of otherwonders.com, the stats all show up just as they ought to - separate stats for each subdomain, which are also separate from the primary domain.
But if i set up test blogs on subdomains of sneakykitty.com, they all get merged with the stats for sneakykitty.com. The only exception to this is a subdomain where i first installed the stats plugin; the sneakykitty.com blog had the plug-in installed later.
I've emailed their support with all of the information i had, and received no response. It's possible that they're just backlogged, but it's been a week or two. I am not sure how to resolve the issue, or if it is even possible to do so. I'm looking into other statistic management systems, but unfortunately, nothing collects the same type of data (and amount of data) that i'm trying to get.

I'm the same issue here... But the funny thing it's in plugin's gaq sez:
"Can I use the same API key on multiple blogs?
Just like with Akismet, you're welcome to use the same API key on multiple blogs. In fact our interface is optimized for quickly switching between stats for multiple blogs."
But I don't think their imagine about subdomain.
