   I installed this plug in and it currently says there have been no readers to the blog. My server begs to different and says there have been over 60 views since the beginning of Aug when I activated the stats plug-in. Does anyone know what is going on here?

   make sure you have external visitors other than you. the stats plugin doesn't count logged in users. also, the server stats may include bot visits.

   try the default wordpress theme for a day. some themes are incompatible with the wordpress.com stats plugin.

   The visitors the server is recording are external, the blog page was the entry page for about 20 of them. I'm using the default theme because I'm still trying to solve basic problems like the stat counter and media uploads

   After reading another post on this topic, I removed the Google analytics code and the stat counter started working.

   Hi, Hanque...can you give me a step by step of what you did? I am having the same problem. I understand about disbaling GA, but what di you "install" that now works? Olease help.
