   I have my website machinecode.org which according to my apache logs has gotten 285 unique visitors since yesterday.

   See here

   but the wordpress.com stats plugin is showing zero visitors, i loaded in 3 hours ago and still nothing. it changed days too and it shows zero visitors for yesterday.

   so what im wondering is how often does it update? is something wrong?

   At least you can see yours. I just installed this and I cannot even see the link on my dashboard. I am running 2.7.1. Anyone have a clue about that?

   yep, me too. No update of wordpress.com stats. for quite a few hours now. Prob at least 6.

   my website cellphonetexts.com will not updsate any stats, did anyone find an answer for this?

   My hosting site shows over 2200 visits during the past week. WordPress.com.stats -- zero. I installed Akismet and the API code, and still nothing. I haven't been able to get an answer anywhere.

   im still having this problem.
   it showed 10 visitors for yesterday, but i have had 150 unique visitors since i made this thread..

   I changed my theme, and the stats plugin now works perfectly.

   Yes, your theme must have a call to <?php wp_footer(); ?> at the very bottom right before the </body> tag.
