Boo_77I installed this stats plugin about a week ago. It worked fine for a few days but now has stopped. I know I've had traffic because I've had comments left in that time.
I checked this forum topic from someone who had the same issue.
This is what someone suggested over there.
Somewhere in your theme, probably in the footer.php but maybe in one of the other files, there should be code that looks similar to this:
<?php wp_footer(); ?>Where is that line? The WordPress.com stats plugin will not work without a call to wp_footer in your theme somewhere.
If it's not there, you need to add it to the footer, before the </body> tag.
Well I am new to this so not sure what this call to thing means and how to do it. How do I do this exactly??
I see now that I don't have a smiley face on my site either. But I don't know where he's meant to be. Can someone tell where the smiley face will be located.
Is there a troubleshooting thing for stats that I don't know about yet??
