Stationary Section above Blog entries (5 posts)

    I've tried searching for where to put this code in or how to resolve it but i'm not sure what to search for. What I would like to do is put a small html section above the blog entries on my site that always stays at the top and has a message for my website viewers. if anyone could please explain or point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to do this i would be very appreciative. thanks in advance.

    1. What's with that wrong link in your profile that doesn't work and displays a stupid message?
    2. It all depends on the theme you are using (that's why I clicked on the link!)
    3. Basically you can put it anywhere - before the Loop.

    Find this in your header.php or index.php:
    <div id="content">
    <!--- middle (posts) column content begin -->
    <div class="post">

    and where the commented out portion is are - insert your text, eventually in its own div to be able to style it in the stylesheet.

    Alternatively, if it is a longer text and you want to be able to edit from the admin, you can use this plugin:
