I'm new here and just uploaded my website static pages to two websites. On my site http://solidgoldwellness.com I have four static pages and three of them show up with the URL solidgoldwellness.com/ name-of-page/ when I hover over the page names in the navigation bar.
However, when I hover over the page named CUPUACU FRUIT, I get solidgoldwellness.com/10/ which does not coincide with the URLs for the other pages. This is important since I'm going to add more pages, and I will be linking from one page to another.
Can anyone help with this?
Thank you,
Perre
Edit the relevant page and, under the title area, click the Edit button next to the permalink to change the link to the correct version.

esmi,
Thank you for your answer. I knew there had to be an easier way to do it, but I deleted the whole page and redownloaded it from Word. Thank you again.
Don't paste content from Microsoft Word into WordPress as the pasted text will also contain Word's own formatting. Sooner or later, this formatting will stop your pages from being displayed correctly (if at all) in Internet Explorer. If you cannot possibly manage without Word, paste your text into NotePad (or another text editor) first, then copy from NotePad into WordPress.

Hi Reddeclue-
I'm new to wordpress.. I just installed a test on my site:
http://www.catherinekeenan.co.uk
I am not using the 'blog' functionality-- I simple will have approx 7 'pages' however at the moment the URL of each page utlizes the id ( eg http://www.catherinekeenan.co.uk/?page_id=12 ) however I want to set it up the same way you have eg: http://www.catherinekeenan.co.uk/contact
Can you advise how you established this? I tried changing the permalink structure in the settings tab however this 'breaks' the link to the pages?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Lyndsay,
You go to Settings > Permalinks and pick Custom Structure.
Then type /%postname%/
Then Save
