My web currently consists mainly of static pages and a News post on the menu.
It also shows a site map (widget) in the Sidebar.
It appears that the Order field in Page Attributes is entirely manual in operation. Ideally, I would like it to grab the page order and hierarchy from the menu navigation.
It may be that this is already part of WP or that there is a widget of plugin that will track changes from the one to the other. Being a NewB with 2 week's experience I would welcome a nudge in the right direction
