Static Page On Colorway Theme 1.7.6 Not Working

I have Colorway 1.7.6 installed and initially I used a redirect plug in when I saw the static page wasn’t working but that’s causing issues as far as Google seeing the actual page (at first I thought I had been deindexed but all my other pages are present in a site:search)

So I wanted to take another crack at getting the static page going but no such luck. I have it set up the way I have normally set it up on other wordpress sites, I tried deactivating plugins, I switched to Twenty Ten to double check and the static page was fine, but once I go back to Colorway I’m back to the same problem.

Basically Colorway’s home page is showing up rather than my static page when i go to my domain url, and then when I click on what I wanted to be my static page in the regular menu, it goes to Colorway’s homepage as well.

Any help would be appreciated and sorry if I left any technical details out, just let me know and I will post.
