Hi, I installed WordPress in my website and i want to make a static page as homepage.

I know how to set a static page as homepage, but actually the issue is that i want to avoid duplication of the same page.

Example: I created a static page named "Sports Channel" and i set this page as homepage in my website.

So, now when i open my website "http://www.atozlivetv.com" i can see the content of the homepage which is actually from "Sports Channel" page and when i click the link of "Sports Channel" page from navigation menu then i see the same content which is in the homepage because i have set this page "Sports Channel" as homepage.

I want to get rid of this duplication of content from the samge page. kindly help me to solve this issue.
    Thanks.

You need to set a custom menu and just remove this page from there (i.e. add only the pages that you need).

Omit the dev part here if your theme already supports it (it should).
