Do you mean that you want only your latest post to be dipayed on your front page?
It doesn’t seem to be an option of your theme, you should look for a plugin

Could you head to Settings > Reading and set your front page to display the latest posts and select 1 post next to “Blog pages show at most”?
If for some reason that route isn’t the one you want to take, I agree with nahuelmahe in that a plugin would be an option to look at – for example, something this one:

Hi Kathryn, that option did not work.
However, on that same settings screen there is the option of “Blog pages show at most”…I changed the number from 10 to 1. Now it’s showing only the latest post with an option at the bottom to see the older post.
This will work for now.
