   Hi, I'd like to create a static page in WordPress that is not visible on my blog but that folks can click off to. It would be an "about" page. Can I create a page in WordPress to do this? How?

   Search for 'ezstatic' here.
   If it's not visible..how will they click it ?

   Not sure exactly what you mean, but I suppose you could put a link on index .php titled "about" that would take the viewer to about.html
