    Hi Guys,

I have just started playing around with WordPress, which I love by the way.
My problem comes from wanting all the features installed that I can cram into the web site.

I have WordPress v2 with sem static front page, wp-print and wp-email.

The wp-print and wp-email work fine on pages and posts, however when I try to print or email the home page it goes to the following location:

    http://free-xp-support.co.uk&email=1/
    http://free-xp-support.co.uk&print=1/

    It should be http://free-xp-support.co.uk/?page_id=10&email=1
    And http://free-xp-support.co.uk/?page_id=10&email=1

Obviously this is because of the static page, however I don't know much about php yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I'm guessing it may be a permalinks issue... go to Admin Panel / Options / Permalinks and update the structure.. try using based on post name rather than ID! Let me know how it goes!!

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I've changed to the Date and Name based permalinks now the links go to:

    http://free-xp-support.co.ukemail/
    http://free-xp-support.co.ukprint/

The rest of the links are still fine on other posts and pages.

    http://free-xp-support.co.uk/xdforum/printpage/

Because my home page is http://free-xp-support.co.uk/
It seems like it is just adding the email tag on the end with the home page.

check the config of wp-email and wp-print... there may be somewhere you put your blog urls and it could be a initial / or trailing / missing somewhere... If you can't find it in the options go have a look inside the plugin file ie wp-email.php and look for any place in the beginning that may offer configurable settings for the plugin!
