   I have satarted word press with clean retina. I have set a static page as a front page. I tried to use corporate layout, but now I read here it cannot be possible. Anyway, I try to make the front page different and always appear as default layout options, never the one I choose in homepage layout options.

   You need to check on latest posts in reading options in settings menu from the dashboard.
