   Is there or has there been anyone who modified wordpress start up to go directly to the login page (prior to displaying the theme's front page)?

   I have the requirement to not display blog content until a login has been successful.

   This has probably been coded already and do not want to 're-invent the wheel'.

   Get the Member's only plug-in.
   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members-only/
   This also protects feeds.
